Assistants and accessible entry
Tickets for wheelchair stands are sold at lippu.fi. They entitle not only the entry for the wheelchair bound but also the entry of an assistant. The assistant will not get an own ticket, but must enter the area together with the assisted person. Select “Wheelchair + assistant” as the ticket type in the ticket shop.
Accessible seats are located on the back straight in the D stand.
The shortest route to the accessible D stand is from the Eastern entrance. There is a drop off point near the Eastern entrance on Hammarskjöldinkatu where wheelschair users can be dropped off. (see Area map)

Arrival at the stadium and parking
Helsinki Olympic stadium is located in Töölö, with good transport connections (address Paavo Nurmen tie 1, 00250 Helsinki). We strongly recommend arriving at the stadium by public transport, because the amount of parking space in the surroundings is very limited. Those arriving by car should park the car in the roadsides spaces or parking garages.
You can find all public transport options in the metropolitan area at hsl.fi or in the HSL application.
The parking area Nordenskiöldinkatu and the Mäntymäki field are reserved for bus parking. A bus parking permit must be ordered in advance (10 euros/day).
Order the parking permit for Friday 30th here (in Finnish)
Order the parking permit for Saturday 31st here (in Finnish)
The parking permit must be attached to the windshield of the bus upon arrival at the parking area.
Event area and entrances to the stadium
The stadium has three entrances: the Northern, the Eastern and the Southern entrance. You can enter the Stadium from of these entrances. We recommend that those sitting in stands G and F arrive from the Northern entrance gate (from the end of Pohjoinen Stadionintie), those sitting in the E and D stands from the Eastern entrance (on the Hammarskjödlintie/Swimming stadium side) or from the Southern entrance, and those sitting in stands A, B and C from the Southern entrance (from the Event square from the Mäntymäentie side).
