The Finland–Sweden Athletics Match begins at 6 PM (gates open at 5 PM) and ends at approximately 10 PM.
Sunday, August 30
The Match begins at 1 PM (gates open at 12:15 PM) and ends at approximately 4:30 PM.
We recommend arriving 1–1.5 hours before the start of the competitions to avoid congestion. An event plaza will be open in front of the Olympic Stadium, offering entertainment and activities before the competition begins.
The youth Matches will be held at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday, August 29, before the senior competitions. Admission to the youth competitions is free, and they can be viewed from Stand A.
Tickets
Tickets are sold by Lippu.fi.
Tickets will be available online throughout the event.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Lippu.fi sales point located in the event plaza on both Saturday and Sunday.
Please note that your ticket allows entry to the Olympic Stadium only once, so if you wish to visit the event plaza, we recommend doing so before entering the stadium.

Ticket Collection
If you have pre-ordered stand tickets for collection (excluding VIP tickets), you can collect them from the ticket collection point at the event plaza.
VIP
VIP tickets are available through the Lippu.fi online store.
VIP tickets are available for both Saturday and Sunday. Sunday VIP packages also include ticket options for children and youth aged 0–12 and 12–17.
VIP tickets and passes can be collected from the VIP Reception Point, located outdoors near the Olympic Stadium Tower.
Event Plaza
An event plaza is be located in front of the Olympic Stadium (on the Opera House / Töölönlahti side), offering a wide range of activities before the match on both Saturday and Sunday.
The plaza will feature:
- Official merchandise sales
- Restaurant area
- Activities and entertainment provided by Finland–Sweden Athletics partners
Access to the stadium from the event plaza is through the South Gates.
Merchandise
Official merchandise will be available at the event plaza and can also be ordered in advance from the online store.
Assistants and Accessible Access
Tickets for wheelchair spaces are available through the Lippu.fi online store. These tickets include admission for both the wheelchair user and one assistant. The assistant does not receive a separate ticket and must enter and move around the venue together with the assisted guest. Please select the ticket type “Wheelchair + Companion.”
Accessible seating is located in Stand D, Row 0, on the back straight.
The shortest route to the accessible seating area is through the East Gate. An accessible taxi drop-off point is located nearby on Hammarskjöldinkatu.

Arrival and Parking
The Olympic Stadium is located in Töölö at: Paavo Nurmen tie 1, 00250 Helsinki
We strongly recommend arriving by public transport, as parking near the stadium is very limited. Visitors arriving by car should use Helsinki city street parking or parking garages.
Public transport information is available on the HSL website and in the HSL mobile app.
The Nordenskiöldinkatu parking area and Mäntymäki Field are reserved for bus parking. Bus parking permits must be ordered in advance. Additional information will be provided on the event website.
Bus parking permits must be displayed on the vehicle’s windshield upon arrival.
Stadium Area and Access
The stadium has three entrances:
- North Gate
- East Gate
- South Gate
You may enter through any gate.
The event plaza is located next to the South Gate entrance.
If you arrive directly at the stadium without passing through the event plaza, we recommend:
- Stands G and F: Enter through the North Gate
- Stands E and D: Enter through the East Gate or South Gate
- Stands B, C and A: Enter through the South Gate
Please note that tickets allow entry through the gates only once.
Stadium Services
Food and beverage services are provided by Compass Group.
A variety of food outlets will be open throughout the stadium, though offerings may vary by location.
Visitors can enjoy Street Food with Nordic Flavors, along with:
- Soft drinks
- Coffee and tea
- Sweets and snacks
- Alcoholic beverages may not be taken into the stands.

Restrooms
- Restrooms are located throughout the stadium and clearly signposted.
Security
Random security checks will be conducted at stadium entrances. Please be prepared for bag inspections.
You may bring:
- One backpack or smaller bag
- An empty water bottle (non-glass)
The following items are prohibited:
- Glass bottles, jars, and cans
- Umbrellas (please bring a raincoat instead)
- Selfie sticks
- Camping chairs
- Outside beverages
- Pets
- Weapons, explosives, fireworks, laser pointers, spray paint, or any dangerous items
- High-visibility orange or yellow clothing resembling security staff attire
- Drones
- Personal radio transmitters
- Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, electric scooters, or mopeds
There is no luggage storage facility at the stadium.
There is no age restriction for the event.
The organizer reserves the right to remove any person whose behavior endangers the safety of others or event property.
Strollers
Strollers are permitted at the stadium, but no dedicated storage area is available.
Strollers must be left at the owner’s risk in a location that does not obstruct walkways. They are not permitted in the seating stands.
All public accessible restrooms at the Olympic Stadium include baby changing facilities.
First Aid
First aid stations are located:
At the west end of Stand F (Room 2)
At the south end of Stand E (Room 4)
Lost Property
During the event, lost property will be taken to the information desk at the event plaza.
After the event, all lost items valued at more than 20€ will be transferred to the Helsinki Lost Property Office.
